Research has shown that a child's mind develops most during the first five years of life. The Bradford-Sullivan Child Care Network is committed to making sure that ALL children enter school ready to learn. Children who are in a quality early care and education setting typically have been more prepared to enter school ready to learn. Our goal is to create a smooth transition from preschool or home into Kindergarten for the child, parent(s), and school personnel. We currently have a School Readiness committee made up of child care providers, Head Start teachers, preschool teachers, school district personnel, and other agency representatives working toward this goal.
