4-H & YOUTH - Extension Program

Becoming a Member

 
  1. Pick a club near you.
  2. Call a few club leaders in your area (some of these clubs concentrate on one project area while several clubs work on many different projects).
  3. Talk to each club leader abou thte projects that they offer, enrollment fees, meeting times & location, fundraisers, educational activites & field trips, and special events & activites.
  4. Set up one or two club visits.
  5. Attend a club meeting and see if it is for you.
  6. After you find a club that fits, ask your new leader for a 4-H Enrollment Form, fill out the form (one per memeber) and return it to your club leader.
  7. You are now an official member of 4-H and you will receive a monthly newsletter in the mail that will update you on county events and activities.
  8. It is now your responsibility to attend club meetings and complete a 4-H project for 4-H Roundup in July at the Troy Fair.
